But honestly, these are still winter gloves, so no, you won't be able to have a texting conversation with your girlfriend - enjoy the nature you're in and put your phone down. 2. Waterproof - We're talking about putting your hands in the water and your hands won't get wet and waterproof. So continue to reach into that ice cave and pull up the giant-eyed beast. Or shred the powder with these ski gloves because your hands will stay dry. 3. Rugged Construction - First we take a Cordura nylon shell (no that thin nylon junk that will tear your first use), then we put a hipora liner (that's what makes it waterproof, it's basically a Gore -Tex) then we have 70 grams of 3M Thinsulate and foam insulation (must keep these gloves warm), then a soft fleece lining 4. Storage - You can never have enough pockets, so we put pockets on the back of the gloves. These pockets are large enough to hold a credit card, hand warmer or keys. We placed waterproof zippers to help keep the pockets dry. But if you have a fancy electronic key, don't put it in it and get your hands underwater for a while, because you might ruin it. So go skiing at -20, put a hand warmer in your gloves and have fun.
