Solgar Vitamin K2 (MK-7) 100 mcg Vegetable Capsules utilizes a natural, highly bioavailable form of vitamin K, menaquinone-7, which has long been known to play an important role in bone formation and blood clotting. Solgar's Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of bones and contains a patented version of vitamin K2, menaquinone-7, the type of vitamin K2 produced by the intestinal microflora and which has significantly greater bioactivity than K1. The unique vitamin K found in Solgar's Vitamin K2 is derived from natto, a traditional Japanese fermented food known for its vitamin K richness and long history as a superfood. A group of European experts recently recommended not exceeding 100 µg per day of any type of vitamin K supplement. It is recommended for adults to take one (1) vegetable capsule daily, preferably with meals. The daily dose expressly recommended for this product should not be exceeded.
