This Valtellina (Val Tellina) Bloc Guidebook describes the bouldering in the Valchiavenna, Val Malenco, Bassa and Alta Valle areas in northern Italy. The area is unique in having a wide variety of rock types, ranging from granite and gneiss to limestone. Due to its location and altitude the best time for bouldering is from autumn through to the spring.
