This set resembles a much-loved set from Unison Colour history which was then referred to as Chiaroscuro. A selection of light and shade colours for tonal drawing to encourage a sense of depth and dimension.Despite manufacturing over half a million individual sticks a year, Unison Colour soft pastels are still completely hand made. They are mixed on meticulous recipes and are based on traditional pigments such as cadmiums, cobalts, and natural and synthetic earths.Each pastel is handmade in the UK using the finest artist-quality pigments, delivering unmatched softness, colour intensity, and blendability. The half-stick format offers excellent value and portability – perfect for plein air painting, travel, or on-the-go sketching.Half sticks measure approximately 2.5 x 1.2 x 1.2 cm.Colours included: Grey 28, Grey 27, Grey 21, Brown Earth 5, Grey 31, Grey 2, Additional 49 and Grey 36.
