Zinc orotate is a highly bioavailable mineral salt that combines elemental zinc with a heterocyclic compound known as orotic acid. The use of orotic acid as a facilitator of mineral transport improves the absorption of supplemental minerals in body tissues. The fact that orotic acid is a substance produced in the body makes it an excellent mineral transporter, capable of easily penetrating cell membranes and increasing tissue concentrations. It is recommended to take a vegetable capsule once or twice a day with food and water. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Taking zinc on an empty stomach may cause stomach upset in some people. Store in a cool, dry place.
