Function The TPA3255 based Car Amplifier Board delivers strong audio performance with power efficiency and very low idle losses, under 2.5 W. This efficiency is achieved with 85 mΩ MOSFETs and an optimized gate driver scheme. Feature The device features an advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary speed gate driver error correction. This technology helps maintain low distortion across the full audio frequency band, supporting clear and consistent sound quality. Detail Operates in AD mode and can drive up to two 315 W loads into 4 ohms and two 150 W (unclipped) loads into 8 ohms at a THD of 1.5%. It provides a 2 VRMS analog input interface to support stable performance with DACs such as TI PCM5242 for seamless connection. Size 122 mm x 73 mm x 30 mm (4.80 in x 2.87 in x 1.18 in) Applications Ideal for upgrading car audio systems to increase power to four speakers while maintaining efficiency and reduced heat. Suitable for custom automotive installations that connect to a DAC (for example PCM5242) via a 2 VRMS input for stable, quality analog performance.
