This piercing is made from titanium, making it fit for use in any piercing- the ear lobe, cartilage, nose and septum You can use this piercing anywhere- in the nose, ear or any other body part where you can use a hinged septum ring. The top section of this ring opens and locks with a click sound- which is why it is called a "hinged" septum ring. This piercing can be worn on the ear, lip, etc. MATERIAL: Titanium. MEASUREMENT:  Dimensions: 1.2 x 8mm; 1.2 x 10mm. SIZE: Width: 1.2mm with a sizing option for Diameter: 8mm or 10mm. The septum is the thin cartilage inside the nose that separates the nostrils. If possible, the piercing should be made through the tissue below the septum as the cartilage can be very tough.
