Take these following steps to determine whether you need a replacement HUB-001A-WAX for your Vado mixer: 1. Make sure there is a constant hot feed entering the valve. 2. Make sure there isn't anything blocking the gauze filters of the Vado HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge. If there is anything blocking them, this can restrict water flow into the cartridge and therefore affect performance. If you have checked those two areas, then the most likely suspect is the Vado HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge. Replacing the Vado HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge is a straight forwards process and is just a matter of unscrewing the old cartridge, replacing it and calibrating the temperature to 38 degrees.
