The Death of Farah is the story of a young ambitious girl navigating her way through life in the Middle East. As she makes a new life in Turkey she meets a new friend Farah who is very good at reading the future in coffee cups. As she reflects on her childhood in Syria stories about family and strangers and the tragedies she has seen in the midst of war and conflict she dreams of going to university and building a better life. As we follow her memories from living with her grandma to her first love to the bombings that killed loved ones and returning once again to her old home her fragmented story becomes clear as the pieces of her life start to come together. Caught in between a traumatic past and an uncertain future what can she do but talk about those that loved her
