Solgar Green Tea Leaf Extract contains green tea which originates from China, Japan and other parts of Asia. Green Tea Leaf Extract is used primarily for its free-radical scavenging capabilities. The key ingredient EGCG, which stands for Epigallocatechin Gallate, protects against digestive and respiratory infections. Historical uses of the tea are reducing high blood pressure, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria that cause food poisoning and blocking the actions of carcinogens, ultraviolet light and metastasis. SUITABLE FOR VEGANS. INGREDIENTS: Each capsule provides: Standardised Green Tea Leaf Powdered Extract (200mg [50%] polyphenols)400mg, Raw Green Tea Leaf Powder 100mg, PhytO2X is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients. Encapsulated with: magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose. Capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose. DIRECTIONS: For adults one (1) to two (2) capsules daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
