The SMA 485 Data Module (485I-MOD-G1.BGCB) is a wired RS-485 communication interface supplied as a retrofit kit for compatible SMA solar inverters. It allows an SMA communication product such as the Sunny WebBox or a data logger to query, display and store inverter data over an RS-485 bus. The kit includes plug-in wiring terminal blocks, a bus terminator resistor, an M32 cable gland and conductive adhesive foil, and is used to add monitoring to SMA Sunny Boy and Sunny Tripower (TL) inverters.
