AD9850 and AD9851 module - Output capabilities: supports sine and square waves with two sine-wave outputs and two square-wave outputs. This dual-channel design provides flexible waveform generation for different applications. - Frequency ranges and notes: AD9850 supports 0-40 MHz, and AD9851 supports 0-70 MHz. At frequencies above about 20-30 MHz, harmonics increase and the waveform can become less clean. Rectangular (square) wave output is available from 0-1 MHz. - Waveform quality improvement: a 70 MHz low-pass filter is included to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and overall waveform quality. - Amplitude adjustment: designed with a dedicated pin to generate the DA reference, enabling easier adjustment of the output waveform amplitude to suit different application requirements. - Duty cycle control: the reference input voltage of the comparator for square wave output is generated by a variable resistor, allowing adjustment of the duty cycle of the square wave. - Oscillator stability: the AD9850 module uses an active oscillator at 125 MHz, while the AD9851 module uses an active oscillator at 30 MHz, providing stable and reliable performance. - Compact size: module dimensions are 5 cm by 2.6 cm, making it compact and easy to integrate into various projects.
