Multiple modules can be cascaded, making it suitable for controlling digital displays and saving microcontroller I/O ports. 3. Data can be input and output in parallel; serial input and serial output; parallel input and serial output; or serial input and parallel output, offering flexibility and broad applicability. 4. The parallel 8bit output ports are internally connected to currentlimiting resistors and do not require external connections.
