Semi-integral spelled stars 500 g

Stars spelled semi-integr. from Iris, from semi-integral farro grits (Triticum dicoccum). The farro is similar to spelled. Sweet and accentuated flavor, it does not melt with cooking. It was the first wheat grown by man. Produced with selected grains and grown by the IRIS Agricultural Cooperative of Italy. Traditional method of "Trafilatura al bronzo". The cold mass is passed through bronze molds to obtain a more pleasantly rough and porous paste, ideal to absorb and exalt the sauces. Drying is carried out at low temperatures and long times, so as not to damage the valuable content of the cereal. It is recommended to add to the broth when it boils. Approximate cooking time of 3-5 minutes. Store in a cool and dry place preferably away from light and flour, rice or legumes.
