1.This is a softwaredefined radio receiver with RTL2832U chip, R820T2, 1PPM TCXO, SMA F connector and passive cooling aluminum housing. Tunable from 500 kHz to 1.7 GHz with bandwidth at 3.2 MHz (2.4 MHz stable). (HF works direct sampling mode). Perfect for use as a computerbased radio scanner with software such as SDR, HDSDR, SDR radio, GQRX or SDR Touch Android. Works with computers such as Windows, OSX, Linux, Android. 2.Comes with a versatile dipole antenna kit, perfect for beginners. Short antennas are perfect for ADSB while longer antennas work well at lower frequencies. When used in a Vdipole configuration, the antenna is suitable for 137MHz weather satellites and the international space station. Vertical configuration for mass signals. Brackets and RG174 cables allow easy aerial outdoors. 3.Perfect for many applications, including general radio scanning, flight protection, public, ADSB aircraft radar, ACARS, bundle radio, P25/MotoTRBO digital voice, POCSAG, weather balloons, APRS, meteor M2 weather satellites, radio astronomy, DAB or as an inexpensive pan adapter with amateur radio.
