Description

1. SMA Antenna Connector Universal dongles use the less common MCX or antenna connectors. SMA is more common, so more adapters and antennas are available for it. It is also more durable and has lower RF insertion loss. 2. HF in Direct Sampling Mode Listen to 100 kHz 25 MHz with direct sampling. Simply connect an HF antenna to the SMA port and enable Qbranch mode. There is a builtin 25 MHz lowpass filter; additional HF filtering may be required for performance (e.g., to attenuate strong MW AM signals). 3. Uses R820T2, higherquality passive components, USB noise reduction, a significantly improved PCB design for much lower internal spurs and noise, various output pads, enhanced ESD protection, additional bypass capacitors and ferrite power chokes, improved frontend matching circuit, and better overall performance. 4. Better Cooling System Large aluminum casing and passive cooling. These devices come with an aluminum casing and passive cooling instead of fans. The PCB is specifically designed for passive cooling with ventilation holes and the large aluminum housing. This prevents failure due to overheating above 1.2 GHz.
