Ratron® mouse bait is a red-colored loose bait containing the active ingredient brodifacoum (0.025 g/kg). The product is made from high-quality plant-based bait materials, such as pelleted oat flakes, which are specifically tailored to the feeding behavior of the named rodents. The bait's high attractiveness ensures successful control. The granulated form in the ready-to-use 40g Power Packs offers significant advantages: - Homogeneous and compact combination of bait substance and active ingredient, - Precise and easy application without direct skin contact with the bait, - Extended shelf life and attractiveness in the unopened two-layer Power Packs, - Prevention of dust and thus unwanted contamination, - Prevention of the risk of spreading, - Full effect after a single ingestion (5% of daily feed intake). The active ingredient brodifacoum belongs to the group of anticoagulants (2nd generation). It inhibits the blood's clotting ability and increases the permeability of blood vessels. Mice die of weakness within approximately 3-5 days after a single ingestion of the bait. The seemingly normal death does not warn other mice and they continue to eat Ratron® mouse bait until the entire population is eradicated. Application: For: House mice. Instructions for use: Ratron® mouse bait should always be placed in areas preferred by mice, i.e., in hygienic areas and in stored product protection (where hygiene is paramount). Place the bait in bait stations in areas such as droppings and feeding areas, hiding places, runways, burrow entrances, animal stalls, and storage areas. Place the bait directly into the bait station at the baiting point. The criteria for proper, professional use of rodenticides must be observed. Application rates: We recommend: - Application rate for the target organisms house mouse, bank vole: 40 g of Ratron® mouse bait per bait station at intervals of 2–4 m, depending on the infestation level. Areas of application: In and around buildings. 1. Ratron® mouse bait must be laid out in such a way that the ready-to-use bait is placed in tamper-proof bait stations or concealed and equally protected from access in areas inaccessible to children and non-target animals. Ratron® mouse bait must be secured in such a way that it cannot be carried away by rodents. 1. Concealed bait placement without a bait station is only permitted in areas (e.g., enclosed cable trays or pipelines, substructures of electrical cabinets, high-voltage cabinets, cavities in walls and wall coverings) that are inaccessible to non-target organisms and children. 2. During the application of Ratron® mouse bait, the target organisms already killed must be regularly checked and disposed of. Local disposal requirements must be observed. 3. After completion of the control measures, all uneaten Ratron® mouse bait must be disposed of properly. 4. During the use of Ratron® mouse bait, the affected areas must be marked accordingly. In addition, easily understandable warnings about the risk of primary and secondary infestation must be posted.
