These shoes were inspired by a pair that Carrie wore on Sex and the city (the episode when she and Big go on the horse drawn carriage ride in Cenral Park if anyone's seen it!?) They are madef rom luxurious velvet in a rich dark indigo, fuchsia pink or classic black with a gold heel and gold edging... very glamorous. The front of the shoe has a t-bar which is finished with a gold edged velvet ruffle- so unusual and prettyThey have a fabulous 4.5 inch heel with a 1 1/2 inch platform. They are actually very sturdy and are really comfortable to wear-yes this is another pair of shoes that I've kept one for myself! I love platforms because you get the height without your feet being at such an angle. The sole on these is also very padded to cushion those tootsies. The shoe fastens with an adjustable buckle.
