Priméal's Quinoa Trio is a combination of different varieties of quinoa: white, red, and black. A seed from the Chenopodiaceae family (like spinach), it's similar to a cereal due to its nutritional composition. Quinoa is a very balanced source of protein and a source of fiber. Red quinoa is a distinct variety from the equally ancient white quinoa. It grows naturally in small quantities in the Réal quinoa fields, and until now we have removed it from our crops to obtain a uniformly creamy white seed. Today, red quinoa is cultivated in a specific manner; its red color is localized in the hull of the grain, and the grain itself is white. *The packaging received may be slightly different from the image on the product sheet. It is recommended to rinse and cook 1 part red quinoa in 2 parts water, covered for 12 to 15 minutes and then add salt. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
