EcoAndes Royal Tricolor Quinoa is a blend of red, black, and white royal quinoa. Compared to other quinoa varieties, it has higher protein, minerals, and vitamins (phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, among others). It is an easily digestible food. Contains large amounts of antioxidants, including quercetin and kaempferol. It contains soluble fiber that helps reduce blood sugar levels, lower lipoproteins, and increase the feeling of satiety. The glycemic index of quinoa is low, but its high carbohydrate content must be taken into account. Today's diet tends to be deficient in some minerals the body needs, especially magnesium, potassium, zinc, and (especially for women) iron. Quinoa is rich in these same four minerals, particularly magnesium. Quinoa is a food very rich in protein and is often recommended for athletes who want to increase or maintain muscle mass. It is recommended to use 3-4 portions of water per serving of EcoAndes Royal Tricolor Quinoa. Simmer until the water is absorbed. Store at room temperature, protected from sunlight.
