It has a variable colour depending on the botanical origin, generally yellow or yellowish-orange brown predominate, but greenish, dark blue or whitish tones may also dominate. It has a floral and earthy aroma. Pollen is rich in protein. Bees collect pollen from flowers, dispersing it and ensuring pollination. It is a special food for bee brood. It is recommended directly, or macerated in cold or warm sugary liquids for about 15 minutes, and as an ingredient in the preparation of cooking dishes and all types of cosmetics and food preparations intended for the care of people and animals. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Avoid contact with direct sunlight.
