Iron Cross made of shiny pewter (Shiny Pewter), including link chain made of pewter. The pendant is partially blackened, so that the design comes into its own. Material: Pewter / Shiny Pewter Dimensions of the pendant: approx. 28 mm high x approx. 24 mm wide length of the chain: approx. 68 cm clasp of the chain: jewelry carabiner made of pewter total weight pendant + chain: approx. 24 g background: The Iron Cross was awarded as a war decoration in 1813 by the Prussian King Frederick Wilhelm III. In 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II renewed the foundation of the Order. Today, the EK can be seen as the emblem of the Bundeswehr on all vehicles of the German military.
