Description

Artfully designed inverted cross made of 925 sterling silver. The pendant is blackened on the front. The sides are also decorated with small, black crosses. The back is smoothly polished. Dimensions: approx. 36 mm high x approx. 23 mm wide Internal dimensions of the eyelet: approx. 8 mm high x approx. 6 mm wide Weight: approx.6 g. The pendant comes with a black cotton strap. Background: Inverted or "inverted" crosses are popular accessories in the metal and gothic scene. This cross shape is sometimes referred to as Satan's cross or satanic cross, as a sign of the Antichrist. Interestingly, for Christians, this motif of the upside-down cross is traditionally considered "Peter's cross": According to tradition, the apostle Peter was crucified upside down.
