Artfully designed triskele with rune ring made of 925 sterling silver. The front of the chain pendant is partially blackened, the back is smooth polished. Dimensions: approx. 28 mm Diameter Inter dimensions of the eyelet: approx. 5.5 mm high x approx. 3.7 mm wide weight: approx. 6.5 g The jewelry pendant is supplied with a black cotton ribbon. Background: The motif of the triskele (triple spiral) is traditionally widespread in numerous cultures around the world. The use was particularly common in the Nordic and Celtic cultural area. The triskele is usually symbolic of the path of life. There are many different interpretations, whereby the number three always plays a major role: past-present-future or birth-life-death or earth-water-air or even youth-adulthood-old age. The runes represent the 24 signs of the so-called older Futhark. This runic alphabet was used by the Germanic tribes until the 8th century.
