Description

Artfully designed bronze Baphomet pentagram. The goat's head is elaborated in detail and vividly highlighted. The pendant is partially blackened, so that the design comes into its own. The outer ring is decorated with skulls. Dimensions: approx. 24 mm Diameter Inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 5 mm Weight: approx. 7 g The jewelry pendant is equipped with a black cotton ribbon supplied. Background: The pentagram is a star with five points and can be drawn in one stroke. It is a frequently used sign in magic. With the tip facing down, it is also called Drudenfuß and indicates black magic. Among Satanists, it is considered a symbol of the devil. The two upper prongs of the pentagram are interpreted as the horns of Satan. In the 19th century, the magician Eliphas Levi first drew the demon Baphomet with a horned goat's head and pentagram on his forehead. Since then, this depiction has been very popular in occult circles. Anton Szandor LaVey also used the Baphomet motif as a seal for his Church of Satan in 1966.
