Artfully designed pendant made of tin/pewter, motif "Iron Cross". the chain pendant is partially blackened. dimensions: approx. 33 mm high x approx. 33 mm wide In diameter of the eyelet: approx. 7 mm weight: approx. 8 g The jewelry pendant is supplied with a black cotton ribbon. Background: The Iron Cross was introduced as a war decoration in 1813 by the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III. In 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II renewed the Order's foundation. Today, the EK can be seen as the emblem of the Bundeswehr on all vehicles of the German military.
