Okg by Longlife is a food supplement of ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate (OKG) useful for the fundamental role played in the metabolism of amino acids. OKG is a salt made up of ornithine (non-essential protein amino acid produced from L-arginine) and alpha-ketoglutarate acid (involved in the Krebs cycle). In the body its primary activity is to maintain the nitrogen balance, thanks to the fundamental role it plays in the metabolism of amino acids. In particular, given that protein catabolism increases during intense and prolonged physical activity, OKG is a substance widely used to support sports performance. It is recommended to take 1-4 capsules a day with water during meals.
