Description

The oil catch can is designed to draw crankcase exhaust back into the combustion cycle by using the pressures in the intake manifold and inlet to rejoin the combustion process. The system helps manage oil vapors that are carried by the intake air. Oil vapors are viscous, and if they enter the intake pipe directly, they can cling to the wall of the intake, causing carbon deposits that can block the air flow and impair normal engine operation. Oil catch tanks address this issue by capturing the oil vapors and reducing carbon buildup, helping protect the engine and extend its life. By preventing buildup and smoothing air flow, it helps keep the engine operating smoothly, even under heavy driving conditions.
