Description

Algamar Flakes Nori Algae is a small-sized alga with many folds. It has an intense flavor and can be used raw or lightly toasted to crumble later in the dish. In Asia it is grown and ground in the form of pressed leaves. In Galicia it is found wild at low tide and then it is ground into flakes. It stands out in proteins, vitamin A and pro-vitamin B12. Consumption is recommended in the following ways: Raw: Dip 20 minutes and add to salads Toast: Without soaking, toast 2 min in the oven or pass through a very hot skillet. Sprinkle with salad, soup, rice, couscous, vegetables, etc. Cooked or steamed: 15 min. with potatoes, rice, vegetables. Soaked: In tortillas, croquettes, pasta, eggs, vegetables, peas, chickpeas ... Oven: Accompanies stuffing and gratin, cannelloni, lasagna ... If the white color appears in the algae, it is due to its own salts, which act as natural preservatives. Keep in a closed bag.
