Eolesens Mountain Savory is an essential oil with a strong, camphoraceous, burning and slightly spicy aroma, obtained by steam distillation of the aerial parts of the plant. This oil contributes to digestive comfort and increases the physiological resistance of the body in extreme conditions (winter periods). Dense and woody at the base, this perennial subshrub likes dry, sunny soil on hills or mountains at medium altitude. The stems are terminal spikes, on one side, branched and reddish. Small purple flowers appear at the end of summer. Savory, which was reputed to cause love affairs, was banned from cultivation in monasteries and convents in the Middle Ages. A key oil in aromatherapy, salty essential oil helps purify the body.
