Using suitable tapping oil enhances thread quality and extends tap life. 4. M35 and Ticoated tap: Made from M35 speed steel (5% cobalt), known for heat hardness (retains hardness at elevated temperatures), wear resistance, and heat resistance. The titanium coating improves hardness, lubrication, and friction resistance, resulting in longer tool life, better chip evacuation, and thread quality.
