Lutein & Zeaxanthin are free radical scavenger carotenoid pigments. It is formulated to support normal recovery from bright light exposure and the maintenance of healthy contrast sensitivity. In the body, they are deposited in the macula, a specialized area of the eye that is responsible for central vision. They act as primary high energy blue filters. Light, lutein, and zeaxanthin help promote normal visual health by neutralizing free radicals formed by exposure to light. It is recommended to take 1 softgel a day with a meal that contains fat.
