Description

It is one of the highest quality products in Solgar's range of amino acids. It contains L-carnitine, an amino acid involved in metabolism and the release of cellular energy. Carnitine is an amino acid that is made in the body from two other essential amino acids: methionine and lysine. L-carnitine is important for fat metabolism, especially in heart and muscle cells. It helps transport long-chain fatty acids into the cell's mitochondria where they are burned and used as fuel. Meat and dairy products are rich sources of carnitine, but it may be necessary to get some carnitine in the diet since it is considered a conditionally essential amino acid. For adults, take one (1) to two (2) tablespoons (15 ml to 30 ml) daily, preferably with meals. Shake well before use. The expressly recommended daily dose for this product should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
