The use of other brands can seriously damage the appliance. Turn off the Mist from the MIST/TIME power button and disconnect the power supply from the current. Take the lid off and empty out all the liquid. Clean the exterior and interior of the spray chamber with a soft cotton cloth. Clean the oscillator in the center of the atomization chamber with cotton swabs. It is advisable to do this cleaning once every 1 or 2 weeks.
