About Nature's Lemon Zest Essential Oil is 100% pure and natural obtained by cold pressing the skin of ripe Citrus Limon fruits. Ideal to use as a food flavoring. Native to India, the Lemon tree grows in the south of Europe, especially in Spain and Portugal. It is a small tree with persistent oval leaves and fragrant flowers, which bears fruit all year round. Its country of origin is the old Médie, between Tigre and Caspienne, reason for which the lemon was called the "apple mede" at the time of the crossed ones. It was embarked by Arab navigators two centuries before crossing the Atlantic on the caravels of Christopher Columbus. It is advisable to add 4 drops to a dish of 5 people (never exceed 2%). Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable support (ex: honey, vegetable oil ...). Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and emulsions (creams). Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case it is necessary to put 4 times more solubol than essential oil). Always use essential oil diluted in vegetable oil or another suitable medium. The essence of Lemon is photosensitizing, so do not expose yourself to the sun for 12 hours after its application. Respect the recommended dosages. Do not use in pregnant or lactating women, in children under 3 years of age, or in subjects with asthma or allergies to one of its components. Always test the application of your preparation in the bend of the elbow 24 hours before use. Consult a specialist for all other indications.
