Integralia's digestive cleansing lactase is a food supplement based on lactase that benefits the digestive system. Lactase is naturally present in the intestine and its deficiency is known as lactose intolerance. Lactase is a digestive enzyme necessary to break down lactose (milk sugar). Lactase should be synthesized in the small intestine, however if this enzyme is not produced or is produced in small quantities, undigested lactose passes into the colon where it is fermented and produces hydrogen, carbon dioxide and organic acids, causing cramps, gas and liquid stools. It is recommended to take 1 capsule before consuming any dairy product. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
