Lamberts L-glutathione is a tripeptide consisting of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine that is part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase, one of the body's most powerful antioxidants. Glutathione is found in all cells in the body, with the highest high concentration in the liver. Since it can be formed from these three amino acids in the body, it is considered nonessential because it does not have to be obtained from food. Essential for Phase II liver detoxification (glutathione-S-transferase), it can enhance detoxification, especially in people with a high toxic load, and is involved in the formation of erythrocytes and white blood cells. Lamberts L-Glutathione Complex contains good levels of each peptide along with glutathione already formed to maximize its absorption. It is recommended to take 1 to 3 capsules daily with water or fruit juice. Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose.
