Kuzu 5 kg

White kuzu is a powerful vegetable thickening agent which is made from starch from the kuzu plant. Provides consistency in soups, sauces and (hot) desserts. Neutral flavor. Kuzu is an effective vegetable thickening agent which is made from starch from the kuzu plant. In Japan it is commonly used in soups, sauces and (hot) desserts. Furthermore, it does not alter the flavor of the recipe. Kuzu also has thickening power in acidic dishes, which is not the case with cornstarch. It's gluten-free and vegan White kuzu is washed and filtered, the flavor is neutral and it has a slightly greater thickening power than gray kuzu. It is recommended to use 10g of kuzu for every 250ml of liquid. Dissolve in 2-3 tablespoons of cold water before use. Use 50g of kuzu per 400ml of liquid to make a pudding. Store after opening tightly in a dry, dark place at room temperature (maximum 20 ° C).
