Korsteel Flexi Mullen Mouth Full Cheek Snaffle Bit

The Korsteel JP Flexi Bits are made from hi-tech plastic which has been moulded around a core of stainless steel. The flexi mouthpiece is 'warmer' than a traditional stainless steel mouthpiece. Flexi mouthpiece is a good choice for younger horses and those with a sensitive mouth. This Mullen Mouth Snaffles main action is on the bars of the mouth and the horse's tongue. Extremely mild and is a perfect first mouthing and ridden bit. This bit encourages the horse to take a contact. Fixed ring sits stiller in the horse's mouth than a fulmer snaffle. The full cheeks on this bit help to improve steering. Ideally suited to young horses and ponies who are just starting their ridden career, or those horses who need more guidance under saddle. This bit is dressage legal. Plastic should be checked before every use for sharp edges where the horse may have chewed the mouthpiece.
