K2 Phone Box Bookend
K2 Telephone Box Bookend. Susan Bradley has designed a range of iconic bookends celebrating English landmarks and London transportation in the form of functional bookends. OK, so maybe a phone box isn't a landmark but it is still a much loved piece of British street furniture where original examples are still loved, cherished and protected. Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, this design classic won the competition to take over from the K1. Selected as the winner by the Post Office, it started to be deployed in and around London from 1926 onwards. Celebrating British icons in the form of functional bookends this K2 Phone Box, in red, would look great on any book shelf, either in the home or office. The K2 Telephone Box Bookend measures approx h15 x w14 x d12cm and is made in England using powdercoated steel.
