Douglas Intestamine is a unique formula of highly effective dietary supplement for gastrointestinal support. This supplement provides significant amounts of: L-glutamine, an amino acid that is important in maintaining the normal structure and function of the gastrointestinal tract. It contains 2 types of fibers, on the one hand there is Acacia Fiber and NutraFlora® FOS, a fructooligosaccharide fiber that, with selective criteria, provides nutrients for beneficial intestinal bacteria. On the other hand, there is Acacia Fiber, which is fermented into short-chain fatty acids for the lower intestine. N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, which is used as a structural component of intestinal mucous secretions.
