Easy to use - The OUT sensor module output port can be connected directly to a microcontroller IO pin, and it can drive a 5V relay directly. Detection and signaling - The IR sensor module uses a pair of infrared emitter and receiver tubes. The tubes emit IR at a fixed frequency; when the beam reflects off an obstacle or reflective surface, it is received. After processing by the comparator circuit, the green LED indicator lights up. A digital low-level signal is provided on the signal output interface. Sensing range and field of view - Detection distance: 2 to 30 cm - Detection angle: 35 degrees Applications - Obstacle avoidance for robots - Obstacle avoidance for cars - Line counting and black-and-white tracking Compatibility and performance - Designed for 5V systems - Direct MCU IO connection with a low-level digital output for reliable triggering - Simple, straightforward integration with clear indication of detection events
