Incorruption by McGinnigle Jack
The novel begins many years in the future when Mayn an exemplary spaceship officer is cruelly banished to a remote asteroid. He records his survival schemes (between ingenious and desperate) but can only scour his memory for clues as to who and why...In Part Two the scene moves to a criminal investigation on the mother ship named 'Yggdrasil'. As they tease out a compelling narrative from recalcitrant suspects (mysteriously Mayn had more enemies than he thought) the Investigators are startled by new evidence which totally defies scientific logic. More is at stake than a conspiracy against one officer. Must hatred be forever? Is a life of healing possible?
