After descaling and subsequent rinsing, the machine is food-safe. Application: For: Fully automatic coffee machines, semi-automatic coffee machines, piston machines, espresso machines, or coffee pod machines. Gently and safely removes limescale and boiler scale. Instructions for use: Mix ½ cup (approx. 60 ml) of HOTREGA® Special Descaler with 500 ml of water. Coffee machine: Pour the mixture into the machine's water tank. Switch on and let half of the solution run through. Then switch off and let it work for approx. 15 minutes. Afterwards, let the remainder run through and rinse with at least 3 pots of clean water. Espresso/pod machine: Place a large container, e.g., a bowl, under the hot water/steam nozzle. Pour the descaling mixture into the water tank. Switch on the machine and let at least 3 cups run through. Then remove any remaining descaling solution from the water tank, rinse, and refill with fresh water. Finally, run at least 4 cups through. Manufacturer's article number: H 230 020 025.
