Gutter-to-Downspout Transition (Leader Head): It is directly screwed onto the exterior wall at the eaves via mounting brackets on the back. The top connects to the gutter outlet, while the bottom connects to a round or square downspout. Its presence prevents rainwater from splashing in all directions due to high flow velocity at the connection point, serving both a functional role in directing the flow and a decorative purpose.
