Guns N Roses - Live 1987 Pasadena Ca 30th Dec [CD]

Guns N' Roses changed the course of hard rock from the mid 1980s. With its fusion of rock, metal, and blues - with a good pinch of punk, funk, and glam thrown into the mix - the band delivered what the rock fans of the world were craving: rock and roll rebellion and arse-kicking riffs. Recorded live by Los Angeles-based heavy metal station KNAC-FM, the gig featured here at Perkins Palace, Pasadena on 30 December 1987, was part of the band's tour to support the, now, classic album, 'Appetite for Destruction'.

This is Guns N' Roses smashing up the rule book of rock and roll and putting it back together again in its own image.

Axl Rose - vocals, piano, percussion, occasional rhythm guitar
Slash - lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Izzy Stradlin - rhythm and lead guitar, backing vocals, percussion
Duff McKagan - bass, backing vocals
Fred Coury - drums*
*Coury substituted for Steven Adler between late 1987 and early 1988 after the drummer injured his hand during a fight.
