L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in all musculoskeletal tissue, protects muscle mass and favors the elimination of ammonia. L-Glutamine represents more than 60% of the amino acid pool present in striated muscle and its function is to preserve muscle tissue in situations of "stress" or high intensity exercise. L-Glutamine supplementation improves the efficiency of the aerobic energy pathways, favoring the recovery of muscle and liver glycogen. It is recommended to take L-Glutamine during periods where its levels decrease due to the intensity and duration of the exercise performed. Take 1-3 teaspoons a day dissolved in water after meals during periods of severe muscle strain. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
