Gibsons Christmas Crackers Jigsaw Puzzle (1000 Pieces)
Christmas Crackers by Beryl Peters is a high quality 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle by Gibsons.
Completed puzzle size: 48 x 68cm
Originally invented in 1847 as a sugar coated bon bon wrapped in twisted paper, the cracker is now a key component of Christmas celebrations. Over the years the bon bon has been replaced with toys and gadgets, and the cracking noise has been added along the way too. In years gone by, crackers would have brightly coloured, intricate patterns. Nowadays, crackers tend to be much more minimalistic in deisgn. What hasn't changed is the joy they symbolise. This jigsaw shows a variety of illustrations from cracker boxes.
As with all Gibsons jigsaws, the carefully illustrated pieces are made from the highest quality 100% recycled board and are therefore a pleasure to work with again and again.
