De la región del Punjab en Pakistán, se caracteriza por su color gracias a las tazas de óxido de hierro. Es rica en calcio, hierro y potasio. Se le considera la sal más pura y saludable por su bajo contenido en cloruro de sodio. Se equipara con la sal Pink Opal de Persia. Es la sal natural 100% de la roca, sin refinación, sin aditivos artificiales, sin agentes apelmazantes, sin suplementos de yodo y conserva su color rosa por las trazas del óxido de hierro. A pesar de su bajo contenido de cloruro de sodio la sal tiene un sabor salado agradable. Ideal para todo tipo de platos. También muy agradable de usar como un recomfortante baño.  Conservar en un lugar seco y fresco.
