Originally from Abyssinia, now Ethiopia, it arrived in America in the early 18th century, and its cultivation spread until it became the main Arabica-producing region in the world. The coffee harvest takes place at an altitude of over 1,000 meters and on volcanic soils, following a completely traditional and natural production system inherited from their ancestors.
